Weekly Letter 27 March 2023

Dear Parents/Carers, 

 

At NUSA this week: 

Another action-packed week here at NUSA. 

We are really proud of the students over this half term. It has been jam-packed but they have risen to the challenge and now deserve a rest.  

A few reminders: 

We return to school on Monday 17th April 2023 at normal time.  

We will be sending letters out to parents over Easter for our new school skirts which will be introduced from September. For each parent, we have a hefty discount code which means our school skirts will cost the same amount as skirts that can be bought from the supermarkets. The skirts are available to purchase from after Easter but will not become compulsory until September.  

On the first day back, we will hold our normal ‘Reset’ assemblies. This will be a chance for all students to have a reminder of what is expected at NUSA and be told about all of the things they have got to look forward to over the next half term.  

Finally, if you have a child in an examination year, they should absolutely be spending time revising at home. Whilst we are focused on completing revision activities in school, this will not be enough to secure the maximum grades they all deserve.

Safeguarding corner: 

 

This week’s safeguarding corner is from the Children’s Society and provides information on the slang names for weapons that are often used in social media chats.
