Letter to all parents
Tuesday 18th March 2025
Dear parents/Carers
I am writing to inform you about a situation that occurred in school today, Tuesday 18th March 2025, and the actions we took in response to ensure the safety of students and staff. Please be assured that there are no reasons to be alarmed and all our students and site remain safe.
Earlier today, the school entered a lockdown procedure due to a reported potential threat of an unknown individual being on site. In accordance with our safety protocols, we immediately implemented the lockdown to ensure the safety of everyone on site.
At no point was there any confirmed danger to our students or staff. The lockdown was a precautionary measure while we investigated the situation. The students were excellent and followed the lockdown procedures brilliantly.
We understand that situations like this can be unsettling, and we want to assure you that the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff are our top priority.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
Thank you for your continued support.
Kindest regards,
Ms Leah Miller
Acting Headteacher
