Dear parents and guardians,

 

Thank you for supporting the community to get the students back to school after a lovely half term. We have celebrated the start of Year 11 Mock exams and we look forward to sharing the outcomes with you at year 11 parents evening on the 28th November. 

Members of our external community have raised concerns about students crossing the roads and not looking or checking before they do. Please remind your child that their safety is paramount and that crossing the road should be done correctly. 

On that note, please ensure your child brings and wears a helmet if they are riding a bike to school. Electric scooters are not permitted on school site. 

We are very excited to welcome 30 employees from a variety of workplaces and roles including CEOs, the former mayor of Nottingham and councillors to interview day on Friday 22nd November.

Students from year 11, 12 and 13 will be more prepared for work after this event. 

Would you like to help us celebrate our Founders Day? On Tuesday 26th November, year 7 will learn about how the Samworth brothers and Nottingham University helped create NUSA. Do you have any stories? Email gmalhi@nusa.org.uk if you do.
