This Week at NUSA

It’s been a great week at NUSA, culminating in World Book Day on Thursday and the mystery novella that students in Key Stage 3 wrote over the course of the day.  It was great to see so many students getting involved in events on the day!

Staff are continuing to go the extra mile, especially for Year 11 and Sixth Form in the preparation for their exams this summer. The targeted intervention students are now receiving has been brilliantly received by students, and feedback continues to be superb! Thank you again for encouraging students to attend these intervention sessions as staff have made them bespoke to students’ needs.  Year 11 intervention sessions have also been planned for over Easter with more details to follow soon.

Year 10 and Year 11 Homework – Tassomai

Year 10 and Year 11 for English, Science, Geography and History have a new homework IST platform called Tassomai. It is an online app that allows students to complete short quizzes, to aid with revision. All information on how your student logs into Tassomai has been sent to their school email address, but below are instructions to help:

Download the app Tassomai or access the website via: https://www.tassomai.com/

Click Sign in

Sign in via 'school unique code': FEDQJ1AO (all in capital letters)

Students enter their own details (name, school email address)

Then they choose the correct class(es) from the dropdown menu

SEND Drop ins 

We offer a number of ‘SEND drop ins’ throughout the year for parents/cares. These are open to any parent/carer who may want to discuss their child’s SEND needs further or parents/carer’s who have concerns that their children may have SEND needs that are yet to be diagnosed. If you wish to book an appointment in one of the slots below, please contact reception.
