This Week at NUSA
This has been a great week at NUSA – Year 11 started their Mock Exams, and will continue these next week; I’m really hopeful that the work put in to-date by staff and students will start to pay off, although I’ve been clear with Year 11 that this is the big push now as we move at full speed toward the summer exams. The same, too, can be said for our Sixth Form students.
On a separate note, at NUSA we get packs of sanitary products that are available to students for free, but not many students take advantage of these. Girls in school can ask at reception/pastoral staff to access these, and parents/carers can also collect a pack from reception should they wish.
We’re nearly halfway through this half term already, it’s a short one, but thank you for doing everything that you can to ensure that our students get to school on time and fully equipped/in correct uniform, it is massively appreciated!
SEND Drop ins
We offer a number of ‘SEND drop ins’ throughout the year for parents/carers. These are open to any parent/carer who may want to discuss their child’s SEND needs further or parents/carers who have concerns that their children may have SEND needs that are yet to be diagnosed. If you wish to book an appointment in one of the slots below, please contact reception.
Wednesday SEND Drop in dates:
07/02/2024
13/03/2024
Coming up at NUSA
22/01/2024 - Prison? Me? No way! Year 9 Event
25/01/2024 - Year 10 Parents Evening
Lost Property
We have had a lot of lost property handed in this term already. All lost property is held in a store room. If your child has lost an item, they can ask reception during break times or after school. They will need to give a good description of the missing item i.e colour, brand, distinguishing marks.
You can also email contact@nusa.org.uk and we will try to reunite your child with their item!
