Dear Parent/Carer,
This week at NUSA:
Our final week is done and what a week it has been!
From our awards assemblies, to our achievement evening, to you Swap shop and today’s trip to Alton Towers; we have enjoyed every minute of celebrating how brilliant your children are!
We have loved this year. Schools are busy places and we are grateful for your continued support as I know you are all busy people.
To our wonderful students:
As we come to the end of another remarkable school year, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to our school community has been nothing short of inspiring.
Thank you for being resilient learners, compassionate friends, and responsible citizens throughout the year. Your hard work and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind our collective success, and I am incredibly proud of all that we have achieved together.
As we step into the summer break, I wish you all a safe and joyful time with your loved ones. Take this opportunity to relax, recharge, and create beautiful memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.
Remember, learning never stops, and I encourage you to explore new opportunities, read, and stay curious during the summer months. I look forward to seeing you all back in the classroom, ready to embark on another exciting journey of growth and discovery.
Once again, thank you for being the beating heart of NUSA. Your positivity and determination make our school an extraordinary place to learn and grow. Have a fantastic summer, and I can't wait to see you all soon!
Plans for return:
We will return on a staggered start for all of our pupils to ensure that they can be welcomed back fully and given the time they need to settle in.
Return times are as follows:
Monday 4th September (11 and 7 only)
Year 7 - 8.40am
Year 11 - 9.30am
Tuesday 5th September:
Year 10 - 8.40am
Year 9 - 9.00am
Year 8 - 9.30am
Uniform for return:
Our uniform expectations remain the same.
A few things to remember:
Lots of shops advertise trainers as school shoes. They are not. Please don’t get caught out by buying a really expensive pair of trainers which your child will not be able to wear in school. Sports brands do not make school shoes so please avoid these.
We have a new school skirt which is available to order online and this should be the only skirt that is worn in school from September 2023 onwards.
Ensure your child brings a bag and equipment every day. This will ensure they are ready to learn.
Coming up at NUSA:
End of term Friday 21st July at 3pm.
Safeguarding corner:
This weeks safeguarding corner comes from Ask Lion.
