Reading Letter
Dear Parents/Carers
Reading
Our school has been asked to trial a new reading piece of software that aims to use 3D games design to improve reading ages. The trial will run from September to December 2022 and we hope that your son or daughter may be involved.
We will be trialing it for selected students who may be behind in reading or just at their age expected level, including those with EAL (English as an Additional Language).
The intervention is online; students will use either the PC in school, but some may play the game at home.
The intervention takes about 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week.
Students work independently and need minimal supervision.
Over the next few weeks, your child may be selected to take part.
