School Dinner Price Costs
Dear Parents/Carers,
Letter regarding school dinner price costs
As you will already be aware, our catering service is provided by an outside provider. Due to rising costs across all sectors, the company have had to increase the cost of a school meal deal from £2.40 to £2.60. At the moment, students can have a main meal and a drink OR a main meal and a pudding for £2.60. I wanted to write to you to ask you to encourage your child to bring a water bottle for school and opt to have a main meal and a pudding instead of a drink as this is far better value for your money and more filling for your child. Due to rising costs, the canteen will now only sell plain water bottles as opposed to flavoured water.
Please remember that you if you do not already receive free school meals, you may be eligible.
