Year 11 Leaver Ltr

Dear Parent/Carer

On Thursday 23rd June we will be holding our Year 11 Leavers Event. All Year 11s are expected to attend, as this is their final opportunity to say goodbyes to all staff and pupils. It is also the time for shirt signing, leaving one another with a final keepsake. Year 11s can come in non-school uniform on the day, but will need to bring a shirt and pen with them.

The event will begin at 11am, so all pupils should be in school for this time unless they are sitting the Physics exam in the morning. Below is an outline of the timings for the event:

11am – Arrival and line up

11.10am – Assembly in the Lecture Theatre

12.00pm – BBQ and Ice Cream Van

12.30pm – Year 11 v Year 10 Football Match

1.30pm – Year 11 v Staff Netball Match

Pupils are welcome to leave from 1pm, however if they wish to stay to spectate for the netball match, they will be more than welcome.

In addition to this, we would welcome any donations of uniform. If you have any ties or blazers that you are happy to part with, then please leave them at reception on the day.

If you have ordered school photographs, they will also be ready for collection from reception.

Finally, we would like to thank you for your support and cooperation during this exam period and throughout your child’s time at NUSA. The last 5 years have been tumultuous and your child has shown real strength and resilience in making it to this final point. We are incredibly proud of them all and wish them all the best in their futures.
