Book Choice Letter

Dear Parent/Carer,

Books Choices During Pastoral Reading 

As you are already aware, we are passionate about reading at NUSA. We wanted to notify you of the new books that will be read by your children after the Easter break. We will read these books during our Student Briefing (Form Time). As you can imagine, some of these books may bring up some questions from your child, so we wanted you to be aware of these choices. The books were chosen by our pupils, along with The Reading Team.

The choices are below:

Year 7:

  Who Killed Mrs Finch? By Peter Boon

Year 8:

  Noah Can’t Even. By Simon James Green

Year 9:

  The Fault in Our Stars. By John Green

Year 10:

  The Help. By Kathryn Stockett

We have our tutors who are specialists in ensuring every subject is sensitively discussed and delivered, as well as our dedicated pastoral team that will also ensure that our pupils get the benefits of reading; as well as proving further support.
