NUSA Young Company Drama Group Formed
NUSA Young Company have been formed this term and are rehearsing for the Nottingham Young Creative Awards.
The Drama group, for Year 8 and 9 students, will perform at Lakeside Arts Theatre at the University Campus in May. The company are working on 'Toolkit', a devised project, where groups entering must create a twenty minute piece of theatre to share in the theatre entry section of the awards.
Led by Miss Stephenson and Mr Bell, the group is a perfect platform for those opting to study drama next year (one of the new options available) and prepares students with the skills that they will need for this course.
Miss Stephenson is a former Theatre Director, having worked for nine years at Nottingham Playhouse in their Education department.
