Year 11 Macbeth Performance
All Year 11 students were treated to a performance of Macbeth on Tuesday 27th February.
With their English Literature exam looming, students were privileged to watch the manACT theatre company perform an abridged and stripped back version of the play in our very own lecture theatre. The piece was then followed by a short question and answer session with the actors.
The students in attendance were a credit to the school: engaging with the performance, asking thought-provoking questions and skilfully analysing the piece in their subsequent English lessons.
Organised by Ms Stephenson, this is an experience that the English department are hoping to be able to offer for many years to come.
