NUSA Appeals Timetable
September 2017 entry
Appeals for children refused a place at NUSA for admission to Year 7 in September 2017 will be heard in line with the School Admission Appeals Code (2012):

‘On-time’ appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.
Parents/carers will be notified of their appeal date and time by the Appeals Team in the Democratic Services Department of the City Council, at least 10 school days before the hearing.
If you have additional information you wish to be considered after you have returned your completed appeal form, you should send this to the Clerk to the Appeal Panel at least 5 school days before the date of the appeal hearing. The address for the Clerk is set out on the appeal form. If you do not submit any additional supporting information within this time you may submit it up to the time of the hearing but the panel may decide not to consider it or may decide to adjourn your hearing to a later date to give panel members time to consider the additional documentation.
